The cases of Dylan Larkin and Nikita Kucherov are similar, but they differ in several respects.
Pierre LeBrun said on RDS today that we're not close to a resolution in the Russian player's case. Kucherov's camp hasn't ruled out any of the roughly twenty clubs interested in his services.
The Larkin situation has been dragging on longer, and naturally, we're likely to see a resolution sooner. But it's not that simple. In fact, according to LeBrun (RDS), the Wings are reportedly begging Larkin's camp to expand the list of teams to which he'd be willing to be traded.
Pierre LeBrun – Around the NHL (French Show) – Larkin | According to my sources, Shawn Horcoff reached out to Dylan Larkin's agents—Pat Brisson and Matt Williams—in the last few days to say, “I've tried everything with the 10 teams on your list, but I haven't been able to find a trade that makes sense for us, the Detroit Red Wings. Please, would it be possible to add some other teams to the list?” […] According to my sources, Pat Brisson's response to the Red Wings—again, in the last few days—was “no.” “We've already given you ten teams. You're capable of making a trade with those ten teams.” – 11/3 #LGRW #NHL

Unfortunately, his agent, Pat Brisson, isn't cooperating. He assures Shawn Horcoff that with 10 teams, he has plenty of options to find a trade for his client.
Horcoff, for his part, insists that he is unable to do so.
As the source said, it's a real game of poker between the two sides.
We've also learned that the Wings' GM is currently in talks with six to eight teams that aren't on his player's list. He feels that the best deals are coming from teams the American doesn't want to play for—at least for now.
I can understand Horcoff wanting his center to broaden his horizons, but when the teams on his list are clubs like Florida, Colorado, or Vegas—which don't have any money available under the salary cap—it's more difficult.
We recently wrote an article about how team rosters might soon be reshuffled. According to the latest news from LeBrun, that's not likely to happen anytime soon…
But the Wings hold the upper hand. They're doing just fine without their former captain, and he's losing more than $40,000 a day.
Stay tuned, then. Brisson has a good poker face, but it probably won't last…
In Brief
– Stay tuned.
