An update on Ivan Demidov.
He skated today, and even though he's still walking with an orthopedic boot, seeing him on skates is a good sign.
Patrick Friolet provided an update on his condition. He is expected to skate on his own throughout the week, and if all goes well, he could practice with his teammates next week.
Ivan Demidov skated this morning for the first time since suffering a fracture in his right foot.
The plan is for him to skate on his own this week, following each step of his recovery. If all goes well, he could practice with the team next week.

What great news!
According to the team's head coach, he was supposed to return to action tonight. Clearly, his rehabilitation didn't go as planned. He probably played the first two games of the season with a broken foot.
He still managed to rack up two points in those two games.
The Habs are eagerly awaiting his return to the ice. But in his absence, Montreal is doing well. The power play is struggling, however, and number 93 could give it a boost when he returns.

As for Nick Suzuki, he's expected to play this week.
The captain's return, combined with Demidov's, will make the team even stronger.
